Cake Map

I love to teach outside of the box. I find that my girls really learn so much when we do hands on projects or have awesome visual aids. I spent one morning making the girls a cake and used frosting to make a map of the world. We have been studying the continents and oceans and I wanted a fun way for them to test their knowledge.
PF helped by making the signs.
Dragonfly did so well placing each sign in their right spot.
Butterfly had to think things over just alittle. I let the girls each take turns and once they had all had a chance to label each spot several times, we got to have a delicious snack.
