Butterfly came home with a project she needed to do for school. They are learning about Arctic animals and Butterfly chose the snowy owl. Tuesday are our best nights to get homework done so we decided to knock it out tonight. She did inform me when we finished that it was due three weeks from now. Not sure if that is true but at least we didn't procrastinate.
We decided to do it in lapbook form since what we had to do worked perfectly in this format. There wasn't much she had to do for this report so I didn't over do it with fancy creative things. Plus with Butterfly it is always better to keep it simple. I helped with the placement of everything but she picked the colors, cut out the pictures that we printed and wrote the information for each section. I was really proud of her hard work.
