I thought it would be fun to show the girls how flowers take in water and how quickly. They each choose colors to add to their bottles. We discussed the color wheel and what colors you mix together to get other colors. Then we made predictions for what we thought the flowers would look like the next day.
After 36 hours, this flower was starting to show some blue.
After 5 days, the blue flower is about the same and one of the flowers is showing some orange coloring. Other than that most of the flowers are still white. Two days ago, I snipped the ends off of some of the flowers to see if maybe that would help. We have all been pretty surprised at the lack of color on the flowers.
